The Production Network

Our community network serves productions within the East Finland region (North Karelia, North Savo and South Savo). On a broader level, this consists of county level contacts, learning institutions and media projects. More specifically, the network is comprised of private, active film professionals who will offer their services when called upon. In return, the EFFC creates an environment for these professionals to gain national and international exposure and connections.

In order to ensure that our network is functioning, accountable and able to serve productions as comprehensively as possible, we create specific educational courses and seminars covering multiple aspects of the film industry.

The East Finland Film Commission can aid and coordinate productions that are not limited to the East Finland environment. Building upon the strength of our network, we are in the process of expanding our cooperative partnerships across our regional borders. We are proud to include our fellow Nordic countries, as well as our Russian Karlia neighbors among our cooperative partners.
